Go2Web20 Online Application Review

Below I have further reviewed the online applications from Go2Web20.net. This website is a useful tool that allows access to online help for all student situations and subjects. There is no need to sign up for an account which makes for easy access. I will be using this site in my teaching for lesson planning and activities for students.
1. Pinterest The functions of this website include ideas of the many. This site has an idea and an instruction for anything you can imagine. This site has been in my personal life and I will be more than happy to extend it into my teaching life as I come up with ideas to keep my classroom fun and learning enjoyable. This site works well to get ideas for decorating, arts and crafts, activities, and lessons for young children. It does not work well for lesson planning for older children but everything else is still there for the older children and the classrooms that they occupy. The intended audience of this site is adults. This is an idea board for the facilitator of whatever idea they want to bring to life.

2. TwistyNoodle This site serves as an online coloring book where the teacher can choose the pages to coincide with the lesson of the day. This would be a great site to teach basic math, seasons, letters, shapes, animals, and so on. This will be a very useful for young children just being introduced into the outside world but would not be stimulating or even useful for older children who have already been exposed to the world and now understand these lessons. It is very obvious that the intended audience for this page is teachers of primary elementary students.

3. LittleBirdTales This is a wonderful site for all elementary students! This site will allow the children to draw their own images so that they stick with them and then put them into a book with a story all their own. I would use this to have the children show their understanding of any cycle. For example: seasons. Where do the animals and bugs go? What happens to the plants? What happens to the weather? This site will be perfect for the children to get excited about showing what they know.

4. BuddySchool This is a site that lets students of all ages that has many lessons to cover all categories. I would refer students to this site if they ever had any problems and suggest students who are excelling to get on there to help others. This is a site that works very well for to give students an extra source to help them learn. By getting all students involved it will create a group thinking process and help the class as a whole to excel.

Go2Web20.net (A useful website to find online applications and tools to help students.)
Pinterest (An online idea board for the facilitator.)
TwistyNoodle (A fun coloring site that also teaches young children as they create their art.)
LittleBirdTales (The site that allows the student to create a unique story to show off their knowledge.)
BuddySchool (This is a wonderful tutoring site that not only lets students learn but teach.)

  1. You've become very good at providing direct links in your postings. It looks professional and is helpful to readers of your blog. I'm not familiar with Buddy School, but it sounds interesting. You may want to consult with your teaching standards and see how these three applications would fit with them, and how they might help you to cover those teaching standards. Nice work on this posting.
